PH consulate in Milan continues to help Filipino fraud victims2 min read

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine consulate in Milan continues to be aiding Filipinos who’ve been victimized by fraud and unlawful recruitment in Italy.

This was disclosed by the Division of International Affairs (DFA) on Wednesday.

“The consulate continues to help Filipinos who’ve filed complaints towards Alpha Assistenzia. As of October 3, there are 60 complainants who’ve requested the Consulate’s help,” International affairs spokesperson Teresita Daza advised reporters in a textual content message.

“This brings to 221 the variety of people who paid as a lot as €3,000.00 (round P178,537) for jobs in Italy,” she added.

In keeping with Daza, the consulate additionally continues to analyze different instances of fraud being dedicated by Filipinos towards fellow Filipinos.

These instances of fraud contain provision of labor allow conversions, citizenship purposes, in addition to airline tickets.

DFA Undersecretary for Migrant Staff Eduardo de Vega earlier bared that every one Filipinos who’ve been victimized by this scheme will obtain authorized help from the Philippine authorities.
