MANILA, Philippines — To rectify an “injustice” dedicated in opposition to somebody who was solely doing his job, Quezon Metropolis Mayor Pleasure Belmonte on Monday urged the native police to reinstate a relieved policeman who claimed the convoy of Vice President Sara Duterte was passing when enforcers stopped the circulation of visitors on Commonwealth Avenue.

Belmonte made the decision to Quezon Metropolis Police District following her clarification with Metropolitan Manila Improvement Authority (MMDA) performing chairman Romando Artes, who stated that it’s solely regular to present courtesy for VIPs — like vp — in public roads.

“The cop have to be reinstated as he was merely doing his job,” she added.
