Within the upcoming survival thriller sequence Kaala Paani, Mona Singh and Ashutosh Gowariker staff up, doing their greatest to avoid wasting residents from an unidentified, cruel military. The sequence’ identify, Saza-e-Kalapani (black water punishment), was impressed by a punishment time period that was first used throughout the British Raj and refers back to the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Political prisoners and skilled offenders have been punished by being transferred to the remoted Andaman Islands from throughout the British Raj.

The sequence is produced by Posham Pa Productions and has a screenplay by Biswapati Sarkar, Amit Golani, Sandeep Saket, and Nimisha Misra. It’s directed by Sameer Saxena and Amit Golani. Kaala Paani stars an ensemble forged together with Mona Singh, Ashutosh Gowariker, Amey Wagh, Sukant Goel, Vikas Kumar, Arushi Sharma, Radhika Mehrotra, Chinmay Mandlekar, and Poornima Indrajith. The sequence will stream on OTT from October 18.
