Are you able to inform us about your journey as an artist and the way it has led to the creation of this music video?

My inventive journey began in classical violin and piano at age 3, electrical violin at age 9, and led to writing songs and recording at 14 years previous. I recorded for Snoop Canine and J. Cole at age 17, and went on to tour with Meat Loaf at 20 – that’s after I actually began discovering myself as an artist. I began harnessing my energy, actually commanding the stage, and studying from the unimaginable artists I used to be working with in my early 20’s – Will.I.Am, Black Eyed Peas, Britney Spears, Avril Lavigne, Ben Moody from Evanescence and lots of extra – all of them taught me completely different classes that knowledgeable my inventive spirit. I wished to evoke a way of badassery – dominance, energy, riot, and discovery by way of the visuals. We interspersed pictures of me singing and performing the tune with the narrative of the poisonous love story. And naturally, shut ups on the violin. 

What was probably the most memorable second or scene for you throughout the filming of the music video?

I believe the poisonous love/lust scenes have been probably the most enjoyable – I’m not gonna lie there was whiskey on set!! and we received to jam on violin and guitar amidst the LA sundown.

What do you hope viewers will take away from experiencing your music video, each on a floor stage and a deeper, extra introspective stage?

I hope they’ll see that 1) ROCK IS NOT DEAD and ladies in rock are badass and a pair of) harnessing your energy and discovering your energy can change the course of your life.

What can your followers anticipate subsequent?

I can be on the highway persevering with the AJR’s enviornment tour across the US in June, July and August, and I’m releasing a pair extra singles earlier than my full album drops Nov. 1st!
