Netflix greenlights Cashero, a collection that redefines the superhero style with a sensible twist. This collection, impressed by the extensively acclaimed webtoon of the identical title, chronicles the lifetime of Kang Sang-woong, an abnormal man whose superpowers develop along with his monetary means. The collection uniquely combines heroism with a candid exploration of socio-economic challenges, partaking audiences with its creative plot and relatable characters.

World star Lee Jun Ho  (King the LandThe Pink Sleeve) takes on the function of Sang-woong, a former civil servant whose new powers are tied to his wealth, including a layer of complexity to his dream of a greater life. His transformation into this relatable hero is very anticipated by followers.

Kim Hye-jun (KingdomInspector KooJoinA Store for Killers) performs Min-sook, Sang-woong’s analytical girlfriend who evaluates the feasibility of his superpowered endeavors, offering steadfast help regardless of her reservations about his self-funded heroics.

In a twin showcase of expertise, Kim Byung Chul (Physician Cha) portrays Byun Ho-in, a lawyer whose superpower emerges from alcohol consumption and who leads the Korean Superhero Affiliation. He enlists Sang-woong to battle towards a secretive anti-superhero coalition.

Alongside them is Kim Hyang Gi (Poong: The Joseon Psychiatrist) as Bang Eun-mi, whose powers activate with calorie consumption. Often known as Bbang-mi, she is fearless and sometimes blunt, proving to be a useful ally of their mission.

Directed by Lee Chang-min (CompanyWelcome to Waikiki) and written by Lee Jane and Jeon Chan-ho (Sisyphus: The Fable), Cashero is about to captivate Netflix audiences with its recent tackle superhero dynamics and down-to-earth characters.
