Effectively it is a dumbass lawsuit, in each authorized standing and public notion. C-actor Cheng Yi‘s previous company has sued him for compensation for utilizing his stage identify. His start identify is Fu Shi Qi and Cheng Yi is clearly the identify he’s used as an actor. Even when his previous company has somebody who helped decide his stage identify with him, and even gave it to him, it was Cheng Yi who made the identify/recognition value one thing by his appearing profession so suing now for IP rights is like greedy at straws. Cheng Yi’s present company is totally in help of defending him and issued a scathing authorized response that the contract was terminated in 2015 and this lawsuit is meritless.
