BTS member V topped the iTunes Prime Track charts in 87 international locations around the globe together with his new solo single, “FRI(END)S,” Saturday, lower than 24 hours after its launch, his company, BigHit Music, mentioned.

The digital single was additionally at No. 1 on the Worldwide iTunes Track and European iTunes Track charts, respectively, as of 8 a.m.

Launched at 1 p.m. Friday (KST), the pop soul music is the artist’s first solo mission since “Layover,” his debut solo album launched in September.

The music’s music video, which was launched concurrently with the music, surpassed 6.7 million views on YouTube, topping charts for trending music movies in varied international locations upon its launch.
